Need breast milk or a bottle warmed in a hurry, but safely, for fussy baby? Don’t want to warm milk in a microwave or wait and wait for it to slowly sit in hot water bath? A bottle warmer may just be the answer! This Kiinde has been an excellent purchase for bottles or breast milk to be warmed quickly. Place water to the water level, set timer and the water warms the milk in a blink of an eye. The built in slots allow for flatly frozen storage bags to be placed in without any hassle of it not fitting into the warmer. The Kiinde can also be purchased with a food and bottle set specially designed for their brand. If you can purchase the bottle warmer by itself, do it!
What makes this better than other bottle warmers are the lack of extra part. Add water to the one-piece base, add bottle/bag, plug in outlet, set timer, and off you go. Other warmers have a basket, a measuring cup, are bulky and this just seemed to be the most efficient. Another great feature is the mechanism to prevent overheating. Breast milk only needs to be warmed to body temperature (98.6), the water warms gently to protect vital nutrients in baby's milk.
Just don’t forget to add the water and burn the warming element… I may or may not have ruined this warmer by experience.
